General description of the collection "Marginal shock"

The collection "Marginal Shock" consists of 15 dresses.

The main fabrics, used in this collection: cotton coat fabric and Gobelins, manufactured at the Cheboksary cotton factory, according to special exclusive drafts of designer I. Dadiani. Concomitant fabrics: organza, chiffon, laced cloth.

In order to create a new texture of the fabric, the following materials were used: hempen cord (bleached and natural), mohair, a knitted ribbon of methanite (produced at the Cheboksary tape/ribbon factory on special order) gold cord.

Decor of the collection: hand-made and machine embroidered with acrylic strings, similar to gold, hempen cord, burgle, Svorovsky's stones, paste, semi-jewels.

Distinctive features of dresses: non-traditional methods of manufacturing of clothes: connection of the dress parts is done with decorative findings, tatting by lace, tape, hemp, cords, fringed stripes of organza, using method of macrame, hooking, hand spokes; punching of laced cloths; pleating and goffering (shaped, stitched, unorganized) according to exclusive methods of the Fashion House of Igor Dadiani.

The collection uses spiral cutting out and shaping of the cloth, avoiding constructive lines of the item, tatting of cloth stripes, excluding any seams, shaping a dress by the pinning method, using a dummy with the help of the unorganized pleating, making a dress by the method of a set of semi-jewel setting.

Particular feature of technological processings: binding, using double seams for turndown and tacking, excluding processing of the edges of the dress on overlock sewing machines thus making these items double-faced.

In addition to the dress, there is a macrame bag, intertwined with jewels. A footwear is made according to the author's drafts of I. Dadiani at the studio "Paruss" (Sails) in Cheboksary, using shoe lasts, specially designed for this purpose. Non-traditional (for shoe manufacture) use of the combination of organza and Gobelin makes this footwear look unusual and novel.

For this collection a special postiche was made, imitation of the headgear and made of strings, coming out at fringing of organza stripes.
